Can I Use Clorox Wipes on Granite?

You can use Clorox wipes on granite occasionally, just not every day. They have a pH around 6.5, which is mildly acidic — enough to slowly dull the polish with regular use. The bleach also breaks down the sealant that keeps granite from staining. For everyday cleaning, dish soap and warm water on a microfiber cloth is all you need. If you’re cleaning up after raw meat or need a real disinfect, a 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water mix is safe on granite and actually does the job. One emergency Clorox wipe won’t hurt anything you’d notice. Daily use over months will dull the surface. Reseal every one to three years, more often in a busy kitchen.
