Can I Use Clorox Wipes on Quartz?
Clorox wipes on quartz are fine once in a while — just don’t make it your daily cleaner. Quartz has a polymer resin binder in it (about 7 to 8 percent of the slab), and daily bleach exposure will gradually dull the finish and start breaking down that resin. Cambria and Silestone both say to skip the bleach and stick to dish soap and water for everyday cleaning. When you actually need to disinfect, a half-and-half mix of isopropyl alcohol and water works without the risk. One wipe when that’s all you’ve got? You’ll be fine. Making it a routine? Your counters will show it. Soap and water handles this better than people think.
